Each WPL3 elbow is completed by several times of bending during the manufacturing process. Place the steel pipe on the pipe bender, and the pipe bender will apply bending torque to the steel pipe, so that a certain amount of deformation will occur in the local part of the steel pipe to form a certain angle, so as to achieve the purpose of bending. The basic process is: the rear end clamp clamps the steel pipe, and then moves upward through the fulcrum of the main oil cylinder of the front lower mold to make the steel pipe bend and deform along the middle of the upper mold curve until it is bent and formed

During the processing of

WPL3 elbow, the deformation of its steel pipe occurs on the upper die, which acts as a mould. Its curve is determined according to the critical value of plastic deformation of steel pipes of different specifications and materials. Different steel pipes correspond to different upper molds

WPL3 elbow can be controlled from two aspects according to the causes of wrinkles: on the one hand, during the bending process, the inner tube cannot be placed close to the front fixture, but should be placed close to the lower mold bending cylinder, and the rear of the inner tube is about 150 mm beyond the rear of the upper tube. At the same time, during the first three times of bending, the lift of the bending cylinder should not be too large, and the lift of the bending cylinder should be gradually increased in the subsequent process until the steel pipe contacts the high point of the upper tire arc, so that the steel pipe can be smoothly transited during the bending process and protect the steel pipe from instability and deformation

During the bending process of WPL3 elbow, the axial position of its inner tube is difficult to control, so a position indicating trolley is designed and manufactured to connect the inner tube and the trolley rigidly with a stable performance. When the inner tube coincides with the center line of the upper mold, record the relative position of the trolley. When the steel tube moves backward and axially after one bending operation, it moves backward with the inner tube and the trolley for a working length. Then release the inner tube expansion mechanism, start the inner tube motor, and move the inner tube and the trolley forward together until the trolley returns to the original calibration position

In order to control the perpendicularity of the inner tube of WPL3 elbow, we have adopted a position indicating pointer, which is fixed on the stable connection performance. At the same time, a position indicating mark is drawn on the pipe orifice. When the position indicating pointer deflects, the inner tube is withdrawn in time and manually corrected
